Many young people with learning difficulties, disabilities and autism are not given the opportunity to reach their potential, often facing barriers to education, training and employment. Cooperative College want to change that. If you are aged between 16-30, have a supported learning need and answered yes to the above questions, then the (ad)Venture project is for you!
Through the 11 week programme the young people learn core values and how to apply these to a working environment – including co-operation, team work, problem solving, planning, time management and self responsibility by developing and running their own social enterprise
The programme also develops confidence, self-esteem. friendships and enables move on opportunities and/or referral back to your service
