What will I do on the course?
Are dogs your best friend? If so learn how to give precious pooches the pamper experience that they deserve. Whether they’re a mud wallowing Mastiff or a lap loving Lhasa Apso, our dog grooming workshop will give you the beginner knowledge and skills to give a thoroughly cleansing, relaxing bath and finishing blow dry, using the correct tools and techniques. You’ll have chance to perfect the dog’s look, learning grooming skills, getting to grips with professional equipment and how to safely perfect your canine creations. Fun and enjoyable, this is a 3 hour workshop. You might be so inspired by the session, that you choose to continue studies with a professional dog grooming qualification
Please note clipping is not part of the workshop
What equipment will I need?
Please bring your dog with you, for you to brush, bath, dry and pamper. No grooming equipment is required, as all tools and resources will be supplied for you.
Comfortable, sensible and practical clothing are a must for this course, fur obvious reasons. Your dog will even be able to make new friends, as the workshop will have a group of attendees, each canine will bring along it’s owner.
This course is delivered by South Staffordshire College and is free for those aged 19 + claiming JSA/ESA/UNIVERSAL CREDIT Proof required when enrolling)
