Autumn Junk Journals to Enhance Mood and Mental Health – 12 Sep
How to get here:
OnlineZoom and Canvas
A Junk Journal is a collection of different types of papers, sewn into a cover that you have created. There is no right or wrong way to use your journal, it is yours alone. Think of it as a mixture between a scrapbook and a diary.
To make the pages for your journal we will be dyeing different types of papers; using coffee, tea, vegetable dyes or anything else you can think of as we experiment together.
You might like to start collecting old book pages, maps, junk
mail, colouring book pages, children’s paintings/drawings,
envelopes, wallpaper or anything that grabs your interest and means something to you.
Keeping a junk journal is a great way to nurture a creative habit, relax, clear your head and re-charge your batteries. I really hope you will join me on this creative, calming and rewarding adventure.
