This course can help get you started.
We offer a variety of Maths Courses at every level, so whether you want to start at the very beginning, brush up your skills or take your skills to a higher level, we will have a course that suits your needs.
Functional Skills courses are for anyone looking to build their confidence with some of the core skills they’ll need for employment or a higher level of study.
You will complete three units:
Unit 1: Four Rules of Number
Unit 2: Measure, Shape and Space
Unit 3: Handling Data
The course is assessed in two externally assessed exams – Calculator and Non Calculator.
Qualification gained:
- Functional Skills Entry 1 – Level 2
- Certificate in Mathematical Skills
