The purpose of the course is to prepare you for working in the construction industry by giving you a basic overview of the construction industry plus Health & Safety in a construction environment.  The course includes two qualifications:

  • L1 Certificate in Skills for Working in Construction
  • L1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment

At the end of the course you will sit the CSCS test and on successful completion you will gain a CSCS green card, which the college applies and pays for.

The course is designed to give you the information and ability to apply for Construction related roles.
