The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HSWA) and associated legislation requires employers to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of their employees and those using their premises. Employees and individuals are also required to undertake training, take reasonable care of their own and others’ safety, and report any hazards or risks that they may encounter.

This level 1 accredited course provides an excellent introduction, regardless of industry sector, to workplace health and safety. It is designed for learners who are looking to gain subject knowledge or employers who would like to provide induction training to their teams.
