Enjoy a rural experience and learn new skills with inspired activities to encourage learning and promote wellbeing.

Unwind and recover at Chase Aqua Rural Enterprise (CARE) through our 6-week course of meaningful activities in a safe and peaceful countryside setting.

A caring, friendly environment where people aged 19+ with learning difficulties and long term mental health issues (including social, emotional, mobility, autism, dreppression, isolation issues) are welcomed and supported to develop their own potential, grow in self-esteem and improve personal wellbeing.

You will have fun, learn new skills, make friends and develop life skills on your journey to independence.

  • Animal cleaning, grooming and feeding
  • Creating animal habitats
  • Animal assisted therapy
  • Growing projects
  • Healthy eating and cooking
  • Horticulture
  • Flower craft and floristry
  • Conservation projects
  • Wellbeing walks
  • Willow weaving and woodwork
  • Arts, crafts and photography
  • Angling and pond dipping

The course takes place over 6 weeks starting Thursday 18th April 2019 and completing on Thursday 23rd May 2019.  Participants will need to attend the full 6 sessions each Thursday.

This course is free for participants (eligibility criteria applies) and funded by Staffordshire County Council.
