As nature begins to come alive, Spring is the perfect time to set new goals and make a fresh start. We’re already three months into 2019, with the resolutions we set in January possibly having already fallen by the wayside as we’ve become wrapped-up in the daily struggles of life.
As we step into Spring, we can use this as a time to take a deep breath and start a fresh. Spring has all the refreshing qualities of nature starting to bud, the days becoming brighter and the weather becoming warmer.
It’s also the perfect time for you to blossom too!

It’s their job to get to know you and to support you throughout your journey with us.
We specialise in working with people with multiple barriers, you can see below some of our participants who have made the most of our tailored programme.
“Building Better Opportunities is a big umbrella of help and support and most importantly it’s hands-on support. I’ve had support from the Citizens Advice Bureau who have helped me to reduce my utility bills. Challenge Academy, which is something I never dreamt I would be able to do but I did do it. I achieved something I never thought I’d do and that gave me such a confidence boost. I’ve completed training including my First Aid Certificate and I’m starting another course next week. I visit the Recovery Hub twice a week for classes that support my mental wellbeing.”
"I've been taking part in confidence building and team working here at the farm. There's such a good vibe, the people that are here really grow your confidence."
“Building Better Opportunities has made me more determined. I’m in a better place and more confident, so I’m ready to start college in September. I’ll be studying for my maths GCSE and continuing with my volunteering. It’s an important qualification which will help me secure a job in the future. I’m determined to live the best life I can.”
“Building Better Opportunities has given me the opportunity to open myself up in a safe environment. It’s allowed me to try new things without being ridiculed, mocked or shouted at."
"I was always staying at home with mum because of panic attacks and people staring at me. Now I'm back on my feet I manage to go out more."
" I look forward to coming to the Work Club each week and really enjoy it when I’m here. I’ve had support with computers, job searches and updated my CV.”
