It’s Volunteers Week

When you’re unemployed or have been ill for a long time, you can often become isolated without realising. You spend more and more time indoors and alone, this takes it toll on you. With Building Better Opportunities Stafford & South Staffordshire you’ll be part of the team and part of our family!

One way we help is through volunteering opportunities. Here’s our top 4 reasons why you should consider volunteering:

  • Volunteering connects you to others
  • Volunteering is good for your mind and body
  • Volunteering can advance your career
  • Volunteering brings fun and fulfilment to your life

You’ll also increase your social and relationship skills (and often without even realising it!) As you’re simply talking and doing more; your skills will naturally increase, you’ll become less isolated, you’ll have more confidence in yourself and pride in your abilities.

Building Better Opportunities With Volunteering

Here at Building Better Opportunities Stafford & South Staffordshire we work in partnership with our friends Support Staffordshire and if anyone knows about volunteering, it’s these folks!

We have a huge range of volunteering opportunities available and remember the benefits of volunteering have an impact on all areas of your life.

If you’re unemployed, aged 18+ and living in Stafford or South Staffordshire, simply complete the green form at the bottom of this page, email: bbostaffs@gmail.com or call 01902 696228 to find out more.
