Building Better Opportunities provide employment advice in Staffordshire, ensuring that people can get back into work following time away, as well as sound, test welfare advice ensuring that they can stay in work. 

Some of the specific services which we offer include: 

Employment & Training Support 

From free training courses in first aid, business admin, food safety, customer service and more, as well as dedicated and supportive help in finding work placements and volunteering opportunities. We want to help you develop key skills, boost your confidence and build your self-esteem in a safe and welcoming environment. 

We regularly hold drop-in work clubs across Stafford and South Staffordshire every single week. These sessions give you the opportunity to meet with one of our advocates and get free guidance on a range of subjects including:

Financial Advice 

Money worries can be devastating to families and individuals. But you don’t have to struggle alone. Our advocates will talk with you in a non-judgemental, confidential environment, to understand your current situation and provide expert help and support for your situation. 

There are many forms this help from us can take. This can include connecting you to debt relief charities or other services in the region to help reduce your outgoings, helping you draw up a budget, or supporting you in identifying and applying for benefits and welfare support you may be eligible for.

Health & Wellbeing Help 

Your health matters a lot and we think that everyone should have the opportunity to live a long, happy and balanced life. For that reason, we can help you get back on track if you’ve been struggling with your physical or mental health and wellbeing. Through meeting with one of our advocates, you can benefit from a range of services including:

This action plan will be drawn up between you and your assigned advocate, and together you will work to set realistic targets based on your own goals.
